My dear friends Russell Kassman & Chris Carnes are hosting a fundraiser for what we hope to be the next Mayor of San Francisco Mark Leno. An amazing night of Piano Performance is planned to include: San Francisco Symphony Pianist, Robin Sutherland; Grammy Nominee, Barbara Higbie and San Francisco Conservatory Pianist, Christopher Basso.
I’ve known Mark since the 90s when I used to work on Polk Street & managed the Giraffe. I’ve enjoyed watching his career, as a rare breed of politician; that being one that is honest, reliable, humble and dedicated to his constituents. His career has included SF Supervisor, California Assembly & State Senator. In each role he has exceeded expectations, brokered compromises between various interests and always delivered legislation that enhanced the lives of those he serves.
I will be attending, and ask you to please join us; in an evening of great music and a fundraiser for Mark.
